As far as I am concerned,, McCain has never said anything about his plan except giving everyone $5000 to get their own healtcare, but has never talked about the details. I have lost all faith in the Republican platform.

Giving families 5,000 max, if you live by yourself you get 2,500.

I like how Obama explained why McCain's wouldn't work because all the healthy people would leave their emloyers pool, making it to expensive for everyone else on the group plan...Haha, and in his plan he wants to start by saying all the uninsurables can be insured in his pool....

They are both talking about something they obviously know zero about...

seriously, is this the best we could do as americans finding 2 candidates????

This is why I hate the primaries, I don't think 20% of americans would nominate either of these jokers by now.....

Miss Clinton, or Huckabey would clean the floor right this second with these clowns...

The primaries are fair though, I mean those candidates had more than a fair chance to get the nomination.

I don't think either side had very good candidates. Mark Warner didn't run and Mitt Romney was mormon. That basically sums it up for me.

    Re: Here comes the BS

The reason I don't like McCain's plan is that the current system is actually better for those of us who do get insurance from our employers. I have over $100 dollars a check coming out pre-tax. If McCain is elected it won't be pretax. Which takes more money from me each check, and puts me in a higher tax bracket all at the same time. Lose-lose situation, and I'd imagine that lots of the middle class who get these benefits will be in the same boat.

    Re: Here comes the BS

The system if broken, in that the best candidates won't appease enough of their party to get the nomination IMO.

It's the same issue we have on the local level more often than not. Someone who actually would do a good job, someone who would bring fresh ideas or new ideas, ticks off too many of the old guard and good old boys, and won't get the necessary support.

Thats one that hinders Mark Warner, he legitimately works both sides, which the support he gains from the Republican side, he loses on the Democratic side for 'not watching out for ours'
What we've got here is failure to communicate. Some men you just can't reach, so you get what we had here last week which is the way he wants it. Well, he gets it.
